Corporate Team Building Program
hikingAbout This Program
At The Forest Park we take teams away from the office environment and place them inside experiences and challenges designed to reveal how they actually work together — pushing them to communicate, collaborate, think, lead, and make decisions under different conditions.
Through these experiences, employees don't just receive theoretical training — they live the skills themselves, learning through practice, challenge, success, and even failure. The result isn't just a fun day out; it's an experience that sends the team back to work more aligned, more confident, and more capable of operating as one unit.
What happens during the day?
The day is built as a series of group challenges and activities. Every challenge puts the team in front of a situation that needs cooperation to solve, requiring them to:
- Communicate more clearly — success depends on information being delivered and understood correctly.
- Listen to each other better — the solution may come from someone other than the person leading.
- Distribute roles and play to individual strengths.
- Make shared decisions, especially under time pressure or with multiple options.
- Handle pressure and challenges that require calm, focus, and quick thinking.
- Lead and take initiative — the people who organize, motivate, and take responsibility emerge naturally.
- Solve problems creatively, since challenges rarely depend on strength or speed alone.
- Trust their colleagues, since some challenges only succeed when everyone trusts each other to play their part.
From experience to new behavior
The value doesn't end when the activity does. After each challenge, participants are guided to reflect and connect the experience back to work: How did we act as a team? How did we make decisions? Did we listen to every voice? Who stepped into a leadership role? How did we handle pressure? What happened when we failed? How can we work better once we're back at the office?
What the company gains
- A team that knows how to work together, thinking in terms of "how do we succeed together" instead of everyone working in their own lane.
- Improved internal communication — clarity, listening, sharing information, asking for help, giving feedback.
- Stronger trust between team members built on shared experiences and shared wins.
- More proactive employees who move from "what should I do?" to "what can I do so we succeed?"
- Discovery and development of leadership skills across the team, not just among managers.
- A better approach to problem-solving — sharing ideas, analysis, listening, experimenting, adjusting the plan.
- Stronger collaboration across departments — HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Management and beyond.
- Higher morale and energy from stepping out of the daily routine and recharging in nature.
The company isn't buying "a fun day" — it's investing in how its people behave and how its team works, building a culture of stronger collaboration, initiative, ownership, communication, and leadership at every level.
